Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition
Developed for the EPASA group, the SCADA software aims to collect data and control the Pasada Cuchildeo Hydroelectric Power Plant, located in Hornopirén, Chile.
This power plant injects more than 40% of the energy into the medium system of Hornopirén, being the only renewable power plant present.
To control it, a central data acquisition system was developed, placed inside a control cabin, from which the operator can view the most critical variables in the generation process. The software has different screens, on the one hand the visualization of the main generator, then the hydraulic power unit, the graph of the capacity curve and the gate control. It should be noted that the most important objective is the visualization of the alarms, so that you can analyze their cause, they are loaded into a database programmed in MySql with the aim of being able to access them from any remote device.
This software has control over 4 different industrial controllers, 3 PLCs from Schneirder electric and a Gensys Core Controller from Cre Technology.
